Ever wanted to try something other than holding a beer with your regular burger? A successful pairing creates a symbiotic relationship between the dish and wine.
I’ve suggested some of the following dishes with wines so that you can enjoy your dishes and add great taste to your taste buds.
- Pizza and Tuscan Red Wine.
As for the tradition are to be believed, one may have heard that in Italy pizza is often served with beer and generally people tend to follow the tradition and rule of having pizza. Nothing is bad in that, but I would like you to serve with a better option: which is having pizza with a good glass of wine may be better for you to have.
Do you have any reason that why wine should not be consumed with pizza? Trust me, you won’t find one. While having Margherita, we need to match a crisp wine with the natural acidity of tomatoes. Also, we can choose a wine which can be juicy to add up the taste such as Scansano or Chianti.
- Brut Sparkling Wine and Mac and Cheese.
Are you in deeply love with cheesy mac and cheese? Trust me this aesthetic combination is purely made for you to consume. The best combination which you’ve ever heard is Mac and Cheese with Brut Sparkling Wine. After having this pair as a combination you feel everything is good in this world. Choose a soft, creamy cheese to go with your macaroni. Also, the salt and creaminess go perfectly with a sparkling dry wine.
This combination is one of my favourite and who does not like a cheesy bowl of macaroni. After adding the wine it tastes so good.
- Dry Champagne and Corn Dogs.
Who said that Dry champagne cannot be a good combination of food?
For a delightful flavour experience, you can pair your corn dog with your favourite dry champagne. Also, you can add mustard to it to make the balance of your food. The mustard and champagne will bring acidity so as to balance out the salty and loveliness of the corn dog.
According to Food and Wine, Champagne is a good match to make your food taste better. A wine lover will always add their delicious food with such combinations to make their food taste better.
- Fried Chicken and Pinot Noir.
Fried chicken is a type of dish which can be experimented with a lighter or aromatic style Pinot Noir or Cabernet Franc so that it can add flavour to your taste. You just need something with enough tannin structure to break down some of the protein of the chicken, a touch of acid to freshen the palate and counteract the grease, and something with a bit of spice to complement or enhance the seasoning on the chicken. Trust me you’ll never regret this combination of wine and food.
- Cheeseburger and Sparkling
You can bring an interesting element of luxury to your coming burger with a Sparkling wine which can add up your taste buds. There’s an interesting factor about it that, the toasty notes which are present in the sparkling wine will the bun and acid will cut through the greasiness of the burger. Also, a vintage wine and a burger are one of my favourite food and wine pairings. The tasty crunch of a toasted bun with the smokiness of the tasty grilled meat and a creamy bit of cheddar cheese is perfect. This will refresh your taste after each delicious bite which you won’t regret to have it.
The most interesting and essential part of the food and wine matching is that is that it is an empiric thing and also, it is totally based on one person’s taste and you’ll never know until and unless you try it on your own. So, you can try any of my suggestion which can also enhance your food pairing and will give a better combination of taste to you.
